Xbox has announced that it’s making six Assassin’s Creed games free to play for a limited time. And the best part is, you don’t need Xbox Game Pass to take advantage of this sweet deal. It’s all part of Xbox’s Free Play Days, so you won’t have long to check them out. Still, six major AAA games is nothing to laugh at.
The announcement comes via the official Xbox website, which shared the latest entries that will be part of its Free Play Days this weekend. Those games are:
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Assassin’s Creed Unity
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Origins
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Play A Lot Of Assassin’s Creed For A Limited Time
While this offer is available for all Xbox players, there are a couple of caveats related to how long you’ll have to play each one.The first five listed Assassin’s Creed titles are available to all Xbox players from Thursday, April 2 until Monday, April 6, 2026. However, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available for all Xbox players to try out with a 2-hour limited-timed trial during the Free Play Days period.
As usual for Free Play Days, most of the games being offered are also discounted right now. So, if you enjoy what you’re playing and want to buy it, you won’t have to pay full price on a number of titles, including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Origins. Both Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate are only $23.99 each right now.
Is This The Best Free Play Days Of 2026 So Far?
Previous Free Play Days this year have offered up some big names, but this is the first time in 2026 that such major releases being offered to all Xbox players. And there are six games to choose from, no less. That’s a pretty sweet deal for anyone with an Xbox, and the timing is pretty nice too, since AC Shadows is getting an update on April 7. That’s not even mentioning the recent news that a Black Flag remake is on the way.
