Xbox Game Pass Just Got A 120-Hour RPG You Cannot Miss

Xbox Game Pass has gotten a host of new games added to its catalog in March, but there’s one open-world RPG that you’ll want to check out first. Of course, it’s been a massive year for Game Pass so far, so you may be busy playing The Witcher 3, FF3, or Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 already.
Starting today, March 10, Cyberpunk 2077 has been added to Xbox Game Pass. It’s available on Cloud and Console, for both Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Premium members. It’s just one of the many games confirmed in Wave 1 on the official Xbox site, but it’s easily the most massive. Despite some mixed reviews at launch, we adored Cyberpunk 2077 when it released and the RPG from CD Projekt Red has only gotten better.
Cyberpunk 2077 Has Landed On Xbox Game Pass
If you’ve never tried Cyberpunk 2077, now’s the perfect chance to give this one a try. And if you played it at launch but found it buggy, then it’s worth coming back for now. It’s almost a cliché at this point, but Cyberpunk 2077 really does feel like a completely different game now, and with DLC and updates, there’s plenty of new stuff to see.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive game. The story alone easily takes 40 hours to beat, but the open-world RPG is full of side missions and locations to explore, which is why you’re more likely to spend considerably more time than that in Night City. The Ultimate Edition will take you close to 80 or 90 hours once you do everything.
If you’re a completionist and playing through the Ultimate Edition, you’ll likely find yourself going beyond the 120-hour mark. HowLongToBeat has the average for this at 128 hours. That’s a pretty nice freebie to have been added to Game Pass this month. You’ll probably spend all of March (and maybe longer) just playing Cyberpunk 2077.
At launch in 2020, one dev even said they sank 175 hours into the game at launch and still hadn’t beat it, highlighting just how much stuff there is to do in Cyberpunk 2077 even without the additional content in the Ultimate Edition.
This Is One Of The Best RPGs You’ll Ever Play
Even if the game’s scale and immersion isn’t enough to grab you, there are plenty of other reasons to play Cyberpunk 2077. There are tons of customization options for protagonist V, a story full of shady businesses and experiments gone wrong, and plenty of twists and turns along the way. Plus, you know, Keanu Reeves.
