All lucky Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for a treat this month. A new day one freebie will be available to all Game Pass members at the end of this month, 31st March to be precise. Are you ready to leap, die, run, die, wall-slide, die and did I mention die? Oh, and you get to do it all in lush, pixel-perfect 3D!
Thanks to the Xbox Game Pass Reddit thread, we’ve learned that subscribers will be getting their meaty fists on a brand-new day one title. A 3D fast-paced adventure where precision jumping and pinpoint parkour perfection are required to get you through each level. A world filled with spinning blades, laser beams and death traps all hell-bent on turning our red-faced protagonist into a bloody pile of goo.

Yes, the next game in the Super Meat Boy franchise is branching out in glorious 3D. The lovable lump of smiling flesh will be tackling Dr. Fetus and his death contraptions in a whole new dimension. Expect to eat crow a lot as you try to perfect each short run through 3D levels that are determined to turn you into paste. Don’t be fooled by the cute art style that looks like it’s lifted straight out of Animal Crossing…there will be blood!
Super Meat Boy 3D promises to once again put you in control of a heroic cube of meat, trying desperately to rescue his girlfriend from the evil clutches of Dr. Fetus.
