I’m sure you’ve probably heard of a little game called Crimson Desert by now. Depending on who you ask, it’s either: the worst game ever made, the second-coming in video game form, or a pretty good 7/10. I’d advise you try the game out for yourself and see what you think.

Microsoft recently added free new dynamic backgrounds for Xbox Series X|S. Two of them are first-party creations from Xbox, while the third is, as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, based on Crimson Desert. This was dropped to celebrate the launch of the brand-new open-world RPG, alongside new themes based on Towerborne and Sea of Thieves.
If you’re really feeling the Crimson Desert love, you can apply the new background by heading into your console’s settings, and finding the dynamic background option. It should be under my background, which is in personalization under general.
