Microsoft Flight Sim 2024 Coming To PS5 In November, Says Leak

PlayStation 5 users will have the opportunity to play yet another first-party Xbox title when it loses its exclusivity in the coming weeks, according to leaks. Microsoft’s new strategy as a glorified third-party publisher has seen numerous Xbox exclusives reach across the aisle and release on PS5, with STALKER 2 the latest to be announced officially.
Polish outlet PPE has now reported that an insider who frequently works with the site has revealed that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be coming to PlayStation 5 in November 2025. It will supposedly be a mostly digital release, with a limited physical run in line with previous Xbox exclusives that have come to Sony’s machine. PPE’s insider, a site user known as Graczdari, is usually reliable, but all leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. A PS5 port of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has not been officially announced.
Leak Claims Microsoft Flight Simulator Releasing On PS5 In November
Only Weeks Away
Only a month-and-a-half away from November, some skepticism is understandable regarding Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s alleged release on PlayStation 5. Ports don’t necessarily need a long runway for marketing, but such a quick turnaround would still be a bit odd. There are, however, a couple of possible occasions for an announcement. First – and most likely – is Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show 2025 presentation, which will occur on September 25.
Another possibility is that Flight Sim 2024 could appear in the rumored September State of Play. Another State of Play for this month (following the one focused solely on 007 First Light gameplay) is similarly unconfirmed, but Marvel’s Wolverine is rumored to headline. Spotlighting Xbox Game Studios titles at a State of Play seems odd, but the former Xbox exclusives have so far been successful on PS5, even topping the platform’s sales charts occasionally.
Xbox Is Slowly Losing All Its Console Exclusives
This One Even Has Microsoft In Its Name
Microsoft Flight Simulator has been a preeminent flight sim for decades, with this latest iteration and its big comeback in 2020 being acclaimed. Despite flight sims being comparatively niche and less dazzling than other exclusives, modern MFS is arguably a cornerstone of the Xbox brand. As Microsoft continues its wider publishing strategy, the Xbox consoles are now losing practically all of their exclusives.
