Crimson Desert – Where To Preorder The Upcoming Action RPG

It’s been a long road, but Crimson Desert is finally slated to arrive on March 19, 2026, and preorders for the open-world action RPG are now live for on PS5, Xbox, and PC. Those who plan to purchase the physical version can secure early copies of the $70 standard edition and $90 Deluxe Edition at multiple online retailers. While publisher Deep Silver has also announced a Crimson Desert Collector’s Edition featuring a massive diorama setpiece, it’s not currently available for North American release. If anything changes before March 19, we’ll be sure to give this preorder guide an update. For now, those who preorder the standard or Deluxe Editions will at least get some cool early bonuses and other exclusive content.
Crimson Desert Preorder Bonuses
Preordering any version of Crimson Desert gets you the Khaled Shield in-game equipment as a preorder bonus. This is offered with all physical and digital preorders on all platforms.
However, PS5 players get a set of exclusive in-game armor for preordering the standard or Deluxe Editions of the game on Sony’s console. Physical and digital PS5 preorders are eligible for the bonus equiment. Here’s what’s included:
Grotevant Plate Helm
Grotevant Plate Armor
Grotevant Cloak
Grotevant Plate Gloves
Grotevant Plate Boots
Oddly enough, the rest of the world is getting another edition of Crimson Desert–the Collector’s Edition. While it’s not yet available in North America (and it’s unclear if it’ll ever land here), the premium bundle includes a massive 17-inch diorama of Kliff battling the Golden Star, a mechanical dragon previously revealed in gameplay footage. If it ever makes its way stateside, we’ll be sure to update this section with details.
If you’re looking for something to play while biding your time until Crimson Desert’s launch next year, consider downloading its spiritual predecessor, Black Desert Online. While Black Desert Online is an MMORPG–rather than a single-player action RPG like Crimson Desert–both games share similar fast-paced action RPG combat and high fantasy worlds. Black Desert is also one of the most popular MMORPGs on the market, offering a massive world to explore, frantic action-based combat, and gorgeous graphical fidelity. The base game is just $10 at Steam, but it’s important to note Black Desert is designed around microtransactions and other in-app purchases (something that Crimson Desert will seemingly not be burdened with). Nevertheless, if you’re sticking to the basic gameplay and character apparel, it should be a cheap way to stay busy until March.
