Aims to inspire, identify young talent in esports
Champions healthy gaming culture among primary school students
CelcomDigi Berhad and Selangor Red Giants (SRG), the esports arm of Selangor Football Club (SFC), have partnered to advance the esports industry and empower gamers with the necessary resources and skills for personal and professional growth. As part of SRG’s transition, along with their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports world champions from Yoodo, this partnership also aims to inspire and identify young talents in esports.
This initiative aligns with CelcomDigi’s commitment to nurturing young Malaysians, known as Generasi 5G, by encouraging the use of technology and connectivity with the right skills and responsible habits. As part of this exciting collaboration, two key initiatives will be launched next month:
A two-day bootcamp for 16–17-year-olds passionate about MLBB, designed to enhance their gameplay skills, team dynamics, and promote a positive esports culture.
A month-long Healthy Gaming Initiative for primary school students to introduce responsible gaming habits early on and spark an interest in esports.
