22 teams from around the world have gathered to declare the best team in League of Legends esports in 2023. With less than a week to go for the 2023 LoL World Championship, the teams have gone into their final practice sessions to aim for the Summoner’s Cup, and we will soon be able to witness the best and most important games of the year.
The junglers in this tournament are quite stacked again, as the LPL and LCK feature four teams each. From ganking to gaining vision and securing objectives, the junglers have important roles to carry on their teams. Here are Inven Global’s top 5 junglers competing at Worlds 2023.
5. LNG Tarzan

Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong had a great year in LNG Esports, boasting teamwork with his mid laner, Lee “Scout” Ye-chan. Tarzan showed a great performance throughout the spring season, putting himself on the All-LPL third team. With his valuable performance, Tarzan extended his contract for two more years before the summer season began.
He had a somewhat slow start during the summer season but soon regained his form. He secured a 3rd place finish in the regular season and, in the playoffs, delivered exceptional performances that led the team to their first-ever finals appearance. Although they faced disappointment in the finals against JDG, Tarzan’s contributions were remarkable. Consistently performing as a top-tier jungler from his debut until now, Tarzan is ranked 5th in Inven Global’s jungle rankings.
4. DK Canyon

Dplus KIA had a difficult year compared to the past few years, as they finished 4th in both spring and summer regular seasons and were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. However, Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu’s performance was notable. Whenever the team fell into a slump, Canyon was the sole constant of the team, guiding the team out of pinches.
With his performance, Canyon was voted on the All-LCK third team in both seasons, and was named Player of the Split in the summer season. Canyon had a remarkable performance playing Lee Sin in the second round of the summer season and marked 1,000 POG points by the sixth week. At Worlds 2023, Canyon will again roam through the jungles as one of the fiercest predators in the tournament.
3. BLG Xun

Peng “Xun” Li-Xun displayed consistent excellence throughout the year. During the spring season, he guided his team to a 5th-place finish in the regular season and then proceeded to secure victories against team after team in the playoffs, ultimately achieving a runner-up finish and successfully qualifying for MSI for the first time. Although he faced some challenges at MSI, Xun and Bilibili Gaming managed to overcome Gen.G and T1, reaching the finals and finishing 2nd again.
Moving into the summer season, Xun continued to dominate the jungle, even securing the most kills among all junglers. With his top-notch performance, Bilibili Gaming clinched 1st place for the regular season. Despite another loss to JDG in the playoffs, Xun’s exceptional performance did not go unnoticed, earning him a spot on the All-LPL 2nd team. With his recent achievement of a bronze medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games, fans can anticipate Xun’s continued outstanding contributions at Worlds 2023.
