The Esports World Cup enters August with a bang, opening the second half of the massive celebration of esports with Rainbow Six Siege on July 31. 16 teams from across the globe will battle for one of the largest prize pools in the esports’ history—a massive $2 million USD.

Teams will also be competing for EWC Club Championship points on their way to the major prize. It’s the third top-tier tournament of the calendar year for Rainbow Six and sets up the road to Montreal for the BLAST Major in November.

The Esports World Cup Rainbow Six Siege tournament for 2024 consists of 16 teams, all of which qualified for the event in their respective regions. They’ll converge on Riyadh on July 31 to kick off the event, which begins with two eight-team group stages.
Each group features a double-elimination format with upper bracket matches best-of-one and lower bracket matches best-of-three. The top four teams (two from uppers, two from lowers) from each group qualify for the playoffs.
There’s no holding back in the playoffs: The eight teams get just one life in the single-elimination bracket on their way to the grand final and a shot at that $750,000 winner purse. Here are the teams that qualified for the Rainbow Six Siege event in Saudi Arabia:
