Cancel Your Plans: One Of The Best RPGs Of All Time Is On Xbox Game Pass Today

Summary One of the most critically acclaimed RPGs of recent years has been added to Xbox Game Pass for consoles, PC, and Cloud gaming.
The game follows two characters fighting against oppression with an action RPG-focused gameplay system.
Subscribers can play this premium title, regularly sold for approximately $40, and enjoy the other new additions announced for Game Pass.
One of the best RPGs of all time has made its way into the Xbox Game Pass catalog during the second batch of titles planned for February 2024. Every month, games cycle through Microsoft’s subscription service, with some new additions arriving, while others leave. During the first phase of February’s additions, Xbox Game Pass got even better with the addition of Resident Evil 3 Remake into its library, allowing customers to play not only the highly popular survival horror game but also its predecessor, Resident Evil 2 Remake, which had been added in January.
Now, another notable title is getting added to the catalog. The critically acclaimed RPG called Tales of Arise is now available on Xbox Game Pass, for consoles, PC, and Cloud gaming. The other titles announced are:
Return to Grace (Available now – Console, PC, and Cloud)
Bluey: The Videogame (February 22 – Console, PC, and Cloud)
Maneater (February 27 – Console, PC, and Cloud)
Madden NFL 24 (February 27 – Console, PC, and Cloud)
Indivisible (February 28 – Console, PC, and Cloud)
Space Engineers (February 29 – Console, PC, and Cloud)
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (March 5 – Console, PC, and Cloud)
The information comes through a blog post made on the official Xbox Wire website, outlining all the next titles that are arriving from now through the end of the month.
The addition of Tales of Arise to the catalog is a noteworthy boon for subscribers. The action RPG by Bandai Namco is a beloved entry in the Tales series and was released back in 2021 to critical acclaim. In fact, this single-player game’s score on Metacritic stands at 87 out of 100. This is one of the premium releases under Bandai Namco’s publishing unit over the past few years. Tales of Arise’s standard version is being sold for around $40, so its addition to Xbox Game Pass’ catalog is great news for customers.
Related How To Share Game Pass On Xbox and PC Xbox Game Pass subscribers can share their subscriptions on Xbox consoles by setting a home Xbox. On PC, players have to sign into dedicated apps.
Tales of Arise follows the story of two characters, each of them from different worlds. In fact, one of them hails from a world that oppresses the other, which makes the duo an unlikely pairing. Nevertheless, these two heroes team up to fight against the oppressive regime and liberate the world of Danha from Rena’s grasp. The game takes on an action RPG approach with a lot of emphasis on dodging and countering rather than solely attacking opponents
This is not to say Tales of Arise does not feature stylish gameplay combos.
As games tend to cycle through the catalog for Xbox Game Pass, it is best to try and play this title as soon as possible, as it may be removed after some time. Tales of Arise is easily the best addition to the subscription service during the later portion of February, a month that has received several great titles. The service continues to expand, and all eyes are already set for late March, when Xbox Game Pass will add Diablo IV to its catalog following Activision-Blizzard’s acquisition by Microsoft.
