Dual Mac minis and Xbox play in gamer’s workstation [Setups]

To a lot of people, “home for the holidays” may mean even more massive amounts of gameplay than usual. That could be the case with the owner of today’s featured computer setup. In addition to two Mac minis, the workstation sports an Xbox Series S with a couple of special-edition controllers.
And two of the three displays in the setup are curved gaming monitors. The other’s 12.9-inch iPad Pro mounted on a stand.

2 Mac minis and an Xbox provide are thrice the fun in gamer’s setup
Redditor jjsson (“JJ”) showcased the setup in a post entitled, “Relaxing.” If you ask us, it might be better called “Disturbing,” given that scary-looking, skull-headed dude from the game Call of Duty peaking out from behind windows on the monitor on the left. He’s the desktop wallpaper.
The monitor on the left is a 27-inch Dell curved gaming display connected to an Intel-based Mac mini and an Xbox gaming console via an HDMI switch/splitter. JJ said he uses an Xbox Elite controller as well as a PowerA Spectra Infinity controller. And judging by what’s on the screen — game references as well as the wallpaper, if you zoom in — he’s really into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
On the right-hand side of the desk, JJ has a 34-inch curved Samsung LED monitor connected to the Mac mini as well as an M1 Mac mini, he said. With that rig he uses a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and the always-popular Logitech MX Master 3 wireless mouse.
And let’s not forget the 2020 12.9-inch iPad Pro, serving as a third display, mounted on a little stand at the base of the Samsung display.
