Xbox Game Pass’ Latest Free Open-World RPG Is 4 Times Bigger Than Skyrim

As of 10 March, the Xbox Game Pass welcomed another batch of incredible games which subscribers can get their hands on at no extra cost. Arriving alongside some incredible RPGs such as The Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, another beloved open-world title has now made its way to the Xbox Game Pass library, and fans will be amazed to hear that it features a map that is four times the size of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Offering over 120 hours of content, you may have skipped out on this 2020 RPG when it was first launched, but thanks to multiple updates, patches, and an award-winning DLC, it is now in its best state yet, and completely free to play for subscribers.
Xbox Game Pass Has Some Huge Open World Games
Yes, I am talking about Cyberpunk 2077, which is now available to download and play for Xbox Game Pass subscribers after being added to the service earlier this month. First launched five years ago in a less-than-playable state, many of us agree that Cyberpunk 2077 has had a complete turnaround in recent years, going on to become one of the most loved RPGs of all time and there has never been a better time to play it.
Set in the not-so-distant future, the CD Projekt RED RPG follows the story of mercenary V who learns that they do not have a lot of time left after imbedding a cybernetic biochip into their head. Containing an engram of the anarchist and rocket Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves, V must battle against the clock as both them and Johnny quite literally merge together to separate each other and save V’s life. With multiple endings, hours of content, an expansive open map, and incredible characters, Cyberpunk 2077 is everything you could want from an RPG and more. Not only that, but with Cyberpunk 2077’s map coming in at a whopping 75.42 km² as opposed to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s 37.1 km², it gives you an idea just how expansive the metropolis of Night City and surrounding areas really are.
Cyberpunk 2077 Is The Game That Keeps On Giving
Since its release back in December 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 has become one of the greatest comebacks in gaming history and following its fifth anniversary, the CD Projekt RED RPG is showing just how popular it is by welcoming multiple collaborations and crossovers in recent months. There is just something about this dystopian RPG that has captured the hearts and minds of its players, which is all the more impressive considering that it was swiftly removed from online storefronts after launch due to its unplayable nature.
