This wild super console combines the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2

Summary
小宁子 XNZ packed an Xbox Series X, a PS5, and Switch 2 into a triangular box you can swap with one button, creating the ultimate video game console.
The trash can Mac Pro-inspired build involved fully-gutting the consoles, a custom triangular heatsink, and a big bottom fan for cooling.
The Ningtendo PXBOX 5 is showpiece over being practical — it’s obviously cheaper to use an HDMI switch. Still, it’s a slick, lazy gamer’s dream.
The concept of a homemade console that supports various systems isn’t new, but it’s been a few years since I’ve seen one. Remember Yoshi’s Boxx from roughly 2002, a custom-made console that could play the PC, Xbox, PS2, Game Cube, Atari 2600, and NES games?
小宁子 XNZ, a very talented China-based YouTuber and hardware modder, has managed to combine the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and Switch 2 into a sleek-looking triangular box. Every console works and can be swapped by pressing just one button (via Tom’s Hardware).
小宁子 XNZ says that she created the super video game console because she wanted to be able to play exclusive console games without getting up and turning off each system to switch between them. While that sounds kind of lazy, I can relate to some extent. My consoles are all sitting on my desk, and sometimes I don’t want to lean forward to move from my Switch 2 to my PC.
The console wars are over now that the Ningtendo PXBOX 5 exists, right?
The overall design is surprisingly polished and sleek-looking
XNZ says that the overall design is inspired by Apple’s 2013 trash can-like Mac Pro. All three video game consoles are entirely disassembled and crammed inside its triangule-shaped body. There’s also a sizable fan at the bottom of the franken-console in order to make sure it stays cool. She even created a custom triangular heatsink by pouring molten metal into a frame. Of course, there’s also a big button on the top of the XNZ that switches HDMI inputs between the consoles.
Check out the video of the build process and each console in action below:
Regardless of how you feel about console gaming, this is an impressive homemade creation. That said, I can’t help but feel like buying an HDMI switch would be both more cost-effective and easier, but of course, then we wouldn’t have the wacky Ningtendo PXBOX 5.
