Xbox Losing 7 Games Forever This Month, Get ‘Em While You Can

While Xbox is constantly adding new games to the catalog for players, apparently it also has to make room for these new games and do a bit of housekeeping every once in a while, which includes occasionally removing games for one reason or another. This month, however, seven games in total are being removed from Xbox for good, and you’ll want to check them out while you still can.
According to a PureXbox report, the following seven games will be removed from Xbox by the end of December 2025: Yakuza 0, Blaze and the Monster Machines: Axle City Racers, JoJo Siwa: Worldwide Party, The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem, Transformers: Battlegrounds, Basureroes: Invasion, and Road to Exotics. Notably, Yakuza 0 is being taken down and replaced with Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut, while Basureroes: Invasion has already been removed.
Xbox Loses 7 Games Forever This Month
Xbox’s slate of games to be delisted in December includes four titles from Outright Games: Blaze and the Monster Machines: Axle City Racers, JoJo Siwa: Worldwide Party, The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem, and Transformers: Battlegrounds. While these games have not been officially confirmed to be leaving Xbox, them being delisted from Steam is a strong indicator that the Xbox versions will follow suit.
Basureroes: Invasion has already been taken off Xbox, but it was a 2D platformer released early in 2025 that didn’t seem to garner much attention. Yakuza 0 is really being upgraded, so while the original version won’t be available, the new Director’s Cut will be, as well as two other Yakuza re-releases. The remaining games listed above are currently still available, but only until the end of the month.
Ultimately, most of these games aren’t going to be major losses for Xbox users, with a majority of them being relatively unknown or unheard of. For example, I’m sure Blaze and the Monster Machines: Axle City Racers is a fine game, but having released in 2021 with a younger target audience and an abysmal player count in 2025, it’s not a huge surprise it’s being delisted.
You Don’t Have Long Left To Buy Them
While the above games will be leaving soon, you still have the opportunity to buy most of them. Xbox will often
