It’s that time of the month again when Game Pass owners on Xbox and PC can look forward to getting free games from their subscriptions. There is a lot to look forward to this month for many different people.

Each month sees a changing of the guard between new game releases and games that have been part of Xbox Game Pass, leaving the service once the license expires. Some game releases can also see a game already available on either PC or Console finally released on the alternative counterpart.
There are usually a handful of game releases every month, with any Xbox or Xbox-owned companies like Activision and Blizzard launching their games on day one on Game Pass as well. So, let’s see what we have coming up this time.

While the list might look small at times, it’s a small reflection of the many games on offer for Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Game Pass Ultimate also gets the added incentive of playing some of their games on the cloud or even on mobile, but not every game will support this feature.
Outside of the new releases and leaving games, you have the option to play all of Xbox’s massive game library on console, PC, and through the cloud (even though some games like Rare Replay are only available through console.) You also have tons of extra offerings, such as EA games through EA Play, which is a part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and through a partnership with Riot Games, a bunch of unlockables, including being able to play as every Champion in League of Legends free of charge.
New games come and go monthly, so we will be sure to update this article when new game announcements are set to join Xbox Game Pass. While some months might be quieter than others, there’s usually a month full of big releases, and 2025 has a lot of big games on the horizon to look forward to, like Fable and more.
