With Cyber Monday now upon us, a few gaming deals that were absent during Black Friday are making their way online now. One such deal is for the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core pro controller, right now on sale for $96. That’s $44 off the regular retail price.
Only the red and blue variants are on sale. So if you were eyeing the white version, you’ll need to shell out an extra $11. It also seems the red variant is sold out at Amazon. Thankfully, this deal isn’t limited to one retailer.
The Xbox Elite Series 2 Core deal seems to be happening across multiple retailers online. If you’re a Target Circle member and want some extra points with your purchase, go ahead and grab this deal there. Plus, you can probably do in-store pickup and grab the controller today. This deal is also available at Walmart. Best Buy doesn’t seem to be taking part.
Why this deal matters
The Xbox Elite Series 2 Core controller is a cheaper version of the Elite Series 2 pro controller. The controller itself is exactly the same; it just doesn’t come with all the accessories found in the standard Series 2. This means that the snazzy carrying case, extra thumb stick options and extra back paddles will need to be purchased separately. If you want those extra accessories, you’ll have to pick up the component pack. But note this: The component pack normally retails for around $50, but is currently on sale for $36. Considering the Elite Series 2 sells for $180, buying the Elite Series 2 Core deal plus the component pack will still save you money.
If you have an Xbox Series console, then you most likely also have a Nintendo Switch. If so, there are some awesome Nintendo Switch Cyber Monday deals worth checking out.
